My dog does the same thing. My man is away for work right now and this weekend I woke up to find our dog sleeping against me with his head on my FI's pillow. Too funny. I finally realized my sore back is a result of him doggy piling on me in my sleep!!
Hahaha! I have a cat that used to sleep with me, (he got booted out of the room when now-hubby moved in 'cause he doesn't spend the entire night in the room and yowls to get out if the door is closed), and he had to be touching me, too. I had to be facing him as well...if I turned onto my other side he would get up and go to my other side, (usually by walking OVER me).
I love sprawled out dogs!
Here is my little girl, she loves to get on top of us and just lay her 56 lb body on top of our bodies! My husband snapped this pic of her in the act :)

mine is a sprawler if you touch her, otherwise she usually curls up at the foot of the bed on my side, or sneeks up onto the pillows after SO leaves for work in the morning. i swear, i've never seen a dog understand the concept of a pillow more than her. i've even seen her lay on the floor with her head on one..
Lol...I love the photos!
@AnnieAAA: I can soooo relate to this on the sofa! Too funny!
hahhaha. Our dog does the same thing.
She sleeps on the bed with us and some nights she manages to get 2/3s of the bed while my husband and I are squeeze onto 1/3. I don't know how she does it!
Haha, I love all of these photos! When I saw the title of the post I thought immediately of my dog. We only let him into the bed an hour before wakeup time because he's such a cuddly space hog. Here he is living his tough life in the living room:

This thread is adorable. Sprawling is hilarious.Whenever my dog does it Im like CLOSE YOUR LEGS!
@PitBulLover: Haha, yes, me too. When my mom saw my dog laying sprawled out like that, she was like, "Has he no shame??"
@MaraBeth: Lol - my one cat does it all the time too. he just looks so cute when hes doing it that I dont care!

On Friday I posted about my husband being away for 2 weeks for a training class. So last night I decided to sleep in the guest room which is closer to our doggies and it just makes me feel safer.
I was actually hoping both of my boys would join me to sleep but only Boris came in around 11pm. When I woke up about an hour later from pain in my shoulder, I realized it's because I was crammed up against the wall. I peered over my shoulder to find Mr. Boris sprawled as a dog can be sprawled across a bed. It was hilarious. And he always has to be touching me, so as we're both falling asleep, he starts to dream and jerk in his sleep (like my husband) therefore keeping me awake all night.
I didn't get much sleep but it was funny as hell. Tonight...I'm going to my big girl bedroom upstairs. Although, I know I'll get scared again.
Anyway, it was funny and so I thought I would share.
