So I made the mistake of looking at dresses before we were engaged… I found one I loved, and once we got engaged, found out that it had been recently discontinued. I went to try on dresses a couple weeks ago with my mom, and although some were pretty, I couldn’t help but compare them to the ‘dream dress’ and want them all to look like that one. I’ve thought about getting a used version of it, but I really would like it new for many reasons. I’m also thinking about getting a custom-made dress, but that could be very time-consuming and expensive. Does anyone know how to get new, recently discontinued dresses? Hmmm the only thing I can think of is off the rack / sample dress? or you could try emailing all the stockists near you & see if they have it x

You could always get Jasmine’s bridal to do it. They’re amazing and there’s a whole group on here that follows their work and a great support community.
You can find the thread by entering the words Jasmine Bridal XVI in the search box. Good luck 🙂

Have you tried the secondhand dress sites like oncewed?
Also try calling the designer and asking if they know of any stores with stock.
And lastly you can always get a similar dress made by a dressmaker either at home or in China.

One thing I would say is something on the rack looks very different on! I wouldn’t get too hung up, and would first go shopping around to see what you could find. You might find something you love even more, especially when you try it on! Try to keep an open mind
