Ladies, I tried on my gown for the second to the last time I guess last Wednesday. This time we were deciding on what type of cover to add to the dress for the ceremony.
I have been trying to lose weight, and my family and friends said I already look thinner. I’m not sure if there’s much difference.
What do you think of the fit and the plan for the coverage – it’s going to be with stretch tulle, swarovski crystals and border beading to match the dress? Please don’t mind the excess tulle, they just pinned it.

I like it but why cover up at all? Is it for religious reasons? If it’s for modesty I don’t really understand since you can easily see through it. Plus, you look thin and don’t need to cover your arms at all!

um, I like it, but I think it’d look better w/o the cover up-if it’s for the ceremony/church, maybe you could go with this for that and then take it off for the reception? I think you look great 🙂 Love the dress and it flatters you very well!

She’s wearing a cover up for the ceremony because her mother requested it. I’ve been following all her dress posts because we have the same dress, and she posted about it in another post.
@KathPuj: I think it will look good. Are you still going to remove it after the ceremony? I can’t remember, did you decide to keep the grey ribbon for both ceremony and reception? Just curious…I remembered your mom wasnt a fan of that either. I’m actually going to try on the dress again this Monday for my FMIL, I can’t wait until my actual dress comes in and I can take it home 🙂 Anyways, you’re wedding is coming up fast!!

I like it a lot. It’s just for the ceremony, a PP said, which many brides do.
