Ms.Bee11:  Oh my gosh that’s a gorgeous dress! I love its simplicity and elegance. I love that it’s not a strapless sweetheart neckline. Love love LOVE!

Ms.Bee11:  Beautiful look. How about some pearls?

Pear earrings, pearly tiara ? I like the idea of your slender long arms staying pure and jewellery free and you don’t even need a necklace because your hair is shoulder-length and your dress neckline is V-shaped so a necklace might compete with that enclosing space.

Beautiful dress, and it looks beautiful on you (even in the wrong size, you lucky thing).

I’m not sure the long veil looks quite right with it.

I do like the look of the feather hairpiece you’re considering and think it would look great with the dress. Or, I have googled and seen a real bride wearing Laila with her her hair down/loose and real roses pinned into it – it looked lovely.

You have a lot of options, like a fascinator, birdcage veil. It kind of depends on how you’re thinking of doing your hair, and the overall formalness of the wedding.

Ms.Bee11:  i would not wear a veil with that dress, maybe a comb or like you said a floral headpiece. I would definitely wear simple earrings. Personally, I would wear a necklace and bracelet, something simple, elegant like a pearl bracelet, and a single pearl necklace.

Ms.Bee11:  Beautiful dress! It reminds me of mine slightly, I’m wearing my moms dress and having it altered. It’s refreshing to see something different and classic.

I think the veil does work, however I understand not wanted to cover the beautiful back. I’m wearing a birdcage veil for the same reason, would you consider that? The comb you linked is beautiful and would look great during the ceremony, or for the reception if you decide on veil. I want to wear some kind of veil because I will never be able to again, if that’s not something that interests you I say skip it!

How are you wearing your hair? Drop earrings will look great, I suggest pearl drop earrings. You could add a pearl bracelet as well, it will add to the simple elegance of the dress but not take away from it.

Ms.Bee11:  Well, hello, dress twin! 🙂 I know we just chatted briefly on the other board about this, but here’s my two cents.  If you want to do a veil, head to a fabric store’s bridal section and just throw some netting over your face.  This will give you an idea as to how large/small the birdcage can be and whether it’s your style.  As for the simple chignon, I love that idea, but I’m not a fan of the feather clip.  It’s pretty, but feathers look messy to me, as if they might fall out at any moment.  If, however, you love it, go for it!  But I would ask if they’ll let you try it on first.  When I was looking at the headband below, Etsy seller Gilded Shadows sent me a sample to try before committing.  I also love the idea of keeping jewelry simple — the neckline doesn’t require a necklace.  I maintained the elegance of the dress while using some chunkier accessories, which might not be your style, but I’ve posted photos just in case you’re curious (sorry, no photos of them on me!):

Headband I considered — changed my mind and decided to go with dramatic earrings instead:

Great Gatsby Crystal Headband, Tulle Headband, Veil Head Wrap, Art Deco, Vintage Inspired Tulle Veil, Roaring 20s Wedding Style - ELOISE

Earrings:

I also wore a bracelet on the wrist opposite my rings.  It was similar to this:

If the back is beautiful, I wouldn’t do veil, I’d do a bracelet maybe, thin one.
