ooh la la! it looks great!!! I looked into buying a knock off from China too but my mom talked me out of it. (and since my dress was only $250 and the one from overseas was $100 it wasn't a really big deal)
I'm glad someone had the guts to go that route and even happier it turned out to be a great custom dress! congrats.

I was worried that it would be cheaply made/not fit at all (I had a nightmare that it came in and it was doll-sized). But, I took a gamble and LOVE what I got!
What store did you purchase it from...? I am looking to do the same and would love the link!
Yours looks wonderful!! Which store did you use? Whats the difference between Tulle and Satin? I ordered mine in satin and I thought that would be good. I have no idea about the materials!!!! I might have screwed up 
I don't like satin because I don't like the shiny-ness of the material, just sort of looks nightgown to me. Tulle is a little more matte and a heavier material! Also, I ordered my dress from thecustomdresses.com. I would DEFINITELY recommend them!

You can always send a custom picture to Dressilyme, Corals Bridal, or Millys bridal and they can make it for you. I think all of these are trustworthy and can make quality. Ask for stock photos and check their quality of something similar.
I came back for another peek. I think I am really loving their make of your dress. It looks like it fit perfectly right out the box. And your train is just gorgeous.

I am so ridiculously happy with how my dress came out I just want everyone to see!
Yes, I did the unthinkable and bought a dress offline from China. On the website, I found a dress I liked but it was listed as made of a satin material -- I asked them to make it out of tulle and I'm pretty sure it turned out better than the original.
