I didn’t, but I’m sure you’re itching to see your dress! 😀  Good luck with waiting for the next three weeks!

Oh mY gosh that’s torture! But I’m so excited for you, I can’t wait to see pictures from your fitting! Your dress came in so fast, I was told not to expect mine until February.

I literally just got the call 5 minutes ago that mine is in and she goes “We’ll schedule your fitting for August” ……….but I want to see it! We haven’t scheduled it yet but I think I’m going to push for something sooner. Especially since I want to see if there are pockets or not and if not if I can add them (the sample didn’t but the dress is shown with them online and I know another bride whose same dress came with them)

@futuremrspaulino:  I’m curious why you are having your fitting so soon? Typically these are done within the month or two before your wedding.

Also, I highly recommend going in just to look at it as soon as possible. My dress came in five months before I needed to have it altered and it wasn’t right. That was five months that were wasted by it just hanging at the boutique when we could have used that time to have it fixed. Instead they had to rush order a new dress just a month before my wedding.

My dress came in and now it is sitting in my apartment waiting to go back with me to the first fitting. BUT, I can’t open the box until we’re at the fitting. The box just sits there and stares at me. It’s horrible.

I’m going to see if I can at least go see it and just put it on. I don’t see why it would be an issue. They don’t need to do any hardcore pinning, just use it as a normal appointment ya know, just let me try on my dress instead of a sample.

@futuremrspaulino:  I don’t know, I guess it depends on you. I personally wouldn’t want to do any fittings until closer to the wedding date but like beargoose suggested just going in to try it on wouldn’t hurt at all.
