I got a phonecall from the salon I purchased my Mori Lee dress from and they said it was ready. The salon is in NJ and I am in VA. So I won’t be able to pick it up until the end of the month. I don’t know why I am so nervous but don’t dresses usually take longer than a month?

@mandm2013: Mine took a little less than 2 months and the only reason why I bought it so quickly was because they were telling me it takes @ least 6 months possibly 9 and I was at 8 months. I wish I had realized and shoped more but I still love my dress! It was pronovias and it was perfectly fine, it’s sitting in my closet right now and my wedding is in August haha

Dresses can take up to six months, sometimes if you’re lucky there’s dresses in production that get cancelled or they make certain sizes and keep a handful in stock. They may have just had your size in stock.

Wow, that was fast! Maybe there was a canceled order or something. Just make sure to store your dress properly.

@mandm2013: Sometimes when the salon calls to order a dress, say a mori lee style #xxx in size y, Mori Lee will say “Oh, we have a size y on hand and ready to ship.”
Then, you don’t have to wait for them to actually construct the dress; you’re just waiting for shipping.
Other times, when the salon calls, you have to wait for the designer to sew the dress and THEN ship it.

My dress came in within 2 weeks as well; and it was the right one. Don’t worry, I’m sure everything will be fine! 🙂
