my dress came in too short, I’m so upset because the lady refused to measure me in the first place before ordering my dress because the sample fit me perfectly just a little snug so she decided to order my dress one size bigger. at first she said my heels are too high and to buy lower heels, so i did and ordered new 3″ heels. I went back yest and the dress is still too short, i put up a fight with her and she brought me to tears because she is refusing to admit that she is wrong and was trying to make me pay to send the dress back and order extra material added on to it. I told her i’m not paying another penny and she finally decided she will take care of it but i’m so nervous now to deal with a person like that and that it wont come in in time my wedding is in 4 months 🙁 help!! what would u do?

OMG! WE only have 4 months left… yesterday we had 6!
And I would have done the same thing as you! Except I would have kept the shoes I really liked and tell her to fox her mistake or buy me new shoes. You didn’t do anything wrong. I maybe would have demanded her to measure before ordering or I would go somewhere else to avoid this mess but in the end, she refused to measure you, the measurements were wrong. It’s on her.

It’s completely on her and not your fault at all! And you’re right for not paying any more money for it!
That being said, just sit back and relax for now. It’s out of your hands, and stressing about it won’t make it come in any faster. I know that’s WAY easier said than done, but I think for your own mental health you need to focus on the things you CAN control right now, you know? Once it gets closer to the wedding, if you still don’t have the dress, then you can worry about it. But until then just try to be at peace with the fact that you didn’t do anything wrong, and no matter what, you’re marrying the love of your life.
