The rule of thumb is that a dress can be taken in or out by two sizes. Will the zipper do up or is it way too tight? Have a chat with your seamstress and see how complicated any potential alterations would be….it may be that she has plenty of availability and can give you some time to loose a few extra pounds, still giving her enough time if it does need letting out

Does it zip up all the way up at all?

You would be surprised what even 5 lbs will do when its coming down to almost fitting! But you also need to keep in mind, your body shape changes after a baby….and never goes back.

That being said, take it to a seamstress.  See what they say.  Personally if I were you, I would buy a new one lol  the worst thing ever is worrying about losing weight just before the wedding.

You have plenty of time to lose the weight. You will be fine.

@JacallyL:  The first fitting is usually 2 months before which for you is March.  You have 2 full months to lose weight and at a rate of 1-2 lbs per week (which is considered safe) you can lose 8-16 lbs.  But remember its the inches not the pounds that matter! You can do this! Don’t panic until March until then just how try to work out as much as possible and eat healthy.  I’ve been using the myfitnesspal app and I think it’s really helpful.  GOod Luck!
