I’m getting my dress made by a very talented local designer. We collaborated on the design and I love it! Here’s the first fitting. She did an amazing job!
Do you have any suggestions? It is currently a-line but we decided to make it fit n flare (the back view shows how the fit n flare is pinned). Is that a good idea? The back will be more fitted (she pinned it to how it’ll be fitted in the pics). The dip will go down 1 more inch and the back lace will be tucked in instead of appliqued on top of the fabric.
What do you think?

I think it will look amazing! I’m definitely loving the fit and flare idea, and the applique is just gorgeous. Can’t wait to see more when it’s done!

Fit and flare for sure.
A-line in those materials make it look a little dated where as fit and flare will add a modern twist 🙂

Gosh, I don’t know, I like it both ways. Beautiful dress, can’t wait to see what you decide!

I think a fit and flare would look a bit odd contrasted with the modesty in the (lovely) lace cap sleeves. I say stick with the A line 🙂
