So after 6 months of waiting my gown is finally here! I absolutely love it so much more now and am glad i haven’t suffered much dress regret throughoit the waiting period. Do you guys think I need crinoline to make it pooffer? I am standing on a podium. It almost fits perfectly. Gotta nip it in the bust and hips for sure as well as hem and bustle.

Nissipatra: Thank you for your kind words! It might just need to be altered and pressed to look great. I know it’s about 6 month a away but I’m still super excited!

millermelly: Gorgeous dress and you look awesome!! See how it looks after the fittings – once it is nipped in you may or may not need the crinoline.

millermelly: Beautiful dress! Looks great on you! As far as a crinoline goes I would wear one. I think it would keep the shape of the dress. And it keeps the dress off your legs and makes it easier to walk in. My dress had a poofy skirt and I liked how the crinoline kept the shape from the side view so it didn’t look like the skirt was laying flat on my legs if that makes sense.

Astra: weim-love: Thanks guys! I’ve set up a few appointments to get quotes from the seamstresses around DC in June and July. My wedding isn’t until October 4th so I still have a good chunk of time. I might just go ahead and purchase a crinoline from David’s Bridal and see how it works with my gown and if not…I can just return it.

MissBatman: I wish we got to lay the back two panels the right way So that I could get a better picture of the buttons. I’m definitely going to tack down the sashes so that it looks like a big bow.
MrsSpagan: thank you!
BurlapnLace: I was very fixed on finding a dress with buttons that all the way to the edge of the dress. Oh my heart stopped when I saw the back of this dress!
AvaG: Robert Bullock is the designer. It’s the Kelsey if you’re looking for it.
saritacg7: thank you! Who knew so little can say so much in a dress. 🙂
