Here it is!!! Its about a foot 2 long which i was expecting ( i'm 5'1) and smells kinda like fish but i LOVE it!!
it smells like fish?!? sorry i could not help but laugh. I think the dress is sooo pretty, i love the flowers!!!

Thank you everyone I am sooo excited I plan on trying it on everyday. The wedding isnt until Nov so i would hope the fish goes way by then!!
I got it from Lightinthebox.com it was $99+ shipping. It left China LAST NIGHT and was here ( maine) before i got home from work!!

ohhh fishes... If you have a large shower, you can hang the dress in the shower, the opposite side of where the water spout is (don't let it get wet). Turn on the hot water shower & let the steam clean/freshen it. My friend did that to her wedding dress because it would cost too much to clean at a cleaners. It worked great & smelled good too :). Not sure if it would help you?

I was originally planning on getting my dress from this site but was scared off once I read some reviews on another site. Your dress is beautiful! I would definitely like to hear an update once you try it on. I cant seem to find another tea length dress that would compare to the one that they have on their site. Glad to see you had a great experience with them.
Here is me in the dress! It is supposed to hit just below the knee! (maybe on a 6'+ tall person!) it almost goes to my ankles

Thanks girls! I'm glad i had a possitive experience with a dress maker in China to share with you all! I did look at A LOT of the chinese dress makers and went with LightInTheBox.com Because the dresses on there website are pictures of the actual dress that they make unlike the ones who take the pic right off from the original designers website!

How long did it take from the time you ordered to the time you arrived?
I have my eye on a dress from Light in the Box and am willing take the gamble with the money, but not with the time. In other words, if the dress arrives in 4 weeks and I don't like it, I'll take the loss. But if the dress takes so long to get here that it doesn't leave me time to pursue other options, that's a different story.
bestforlast - I ordered it with standard shipping on March 23rd and it arrived yesterday afternoon, 18 business days. I would guess depending on the detail of the dress it could take longer, but I’m not sure.
The shipping itself was extremely quick it left china 4-19 at 10 pm and got to my house (in Maine) around 3pm the next day!
Not sure what style dress you plan on getting but I will say that the boning in my dress only goes to about the bottom of my ribcage and for me just under is my “problem” area and had I known I would have asked for longer boning. But that might just be the style of my dress.
Overall it was very well made, thick fabric, beautiful flowers, and even has extra elastic support in the back for my boobs!
The dress looks exactly like it does in the pictures I had no surprises!

I am also petite. I know some of the sites allow you to give custom measurements. Did you choose a standard size or give measurements?
I did standard sizes because when i tried on dresses at stores around here, which i highly recomend doing before you order online the dress i originally wanted would have looked horrible!, the standard size 4 fit me in bust, hips & waist perfectly. I wish I had done a custom and given them all the size 4 measurements and with my hollow to hem ( 51" to standard 58" )
