I think if you can afford both you should do the cathedral length for the ceremony and pictures. Then switch to the shorter one for the rest of the day so it’s easier to move around.

jennify:  I really regret not doing a cathedral length veil as they are just so beautiful. I already had a long train on the dress and I was worried about having to manage that and ending up being one of those brides that has their long veil all bundled up around one arm! 

Two veils would have solved that though! Haha.
