Bri1o:  Your dress is beautiful and it looks amazing on

you! Both pics look the same to me. Is that a Trumpet style wedding dress? I have a similar style I got from David’s Bridal and I tried on the size 16 that fit like a glove. My consultant suggested I order one size up, but I stuck with the size 16.

I love that dress so much on you!!!! I can see your concerns but alterations can make such a difference, just wait until they bring that sucker in and you will feel so good about it.  I’m sure everything will work out just fine 🙂

Bri1o:  No, it hasn’t.  I didn’t want to post it on your thread cause this is your beautiful moment and you didn’t ask anyone to show you their dress, but if you want to see it, with your ok I will post it here for you to see.

@Bri1o You look beautiful in your dress! My fit and flare dress hasnt come in yet but I had the same issue sample size 16 fit well but after measuring my hips the consultant said I should order a size 20 so I’m nervous!

Dress looks amazing on you in both pics! But I see what you mean…deffinately looks more fitted in the second pic…alterations  will fix that..don’t worry. At least you didn’t have happen what happened to me…the stupid girl at the dress shop never measured me and ordered the dress 4 sizes to small! Luckily I bought a backup dress that I’m wearing where that shop did measure me…that’s how I found out the first dress was too small cause I knew my actual dress size. Yeah needless to say I’m not paying for the first dress and fighting the charges with the credit card company.

Your dress is gorgeous on you! I do see what you mean though with the fit. I am having a similar dilemma. I tried a dress on that was a little bigger than my size, but had it clipped and held to show what it would look like when it was in my size, but when I got it in, the hips are not fitted enough at all. It is actually quite similar to how your dress fits you in the hips! I am hopeful that alterations will make a world of difference! Let me know how yours works out!

That dress is gorgeous!! I know what you mean about not having that wow moment though. I’m definitely one of those people who have a hard time imagining the finished product. Fear not though! I’m sure it’s going to turn out amazing!!

The fabric looks pulled in t he second pic. The first one looks like it needs the shape changing to fit YOU and it will look great. When you get fitted for alterations ask them to concentrate on bringninghte waist in and it will look fab. don’t worry!!

MOST dresses do not look great before alterations. Trust me, once you get it altered it will fit you 100% differently!
