butterfliesandhoney:  I completely understand your fear… I felt I had gained some weight and put it off by almost a month before I went in to try on my dresses.  Honestly, looking back now it was silly.

Most wedding stores understand the wedding process is stressfull — a little bit of weight gain is understandable.

I say go try it on ~ best case is those extra inches will not make a difference.  If not, trust me these dresses can usually be let out to accomodate.

For me, one of the dresses was a bit more snug in the hip/thigh area… well now I have full motivation.  I look at the pictures I took and reminded why I need to stick on track with my food and exercise.

Ugh! My dress isn’t in yet but I have been doing some serious stress eating. And I’m nervous about my dress in general so I totally understand.

My dress came in right after I took my comprehensive exams for my PhD- so yeah I was a lot out of shape from stress eating and very nervous.  It actually ended up being a great experience, because it zipped up (thankfully) and it looked great!  Yes, it will look better once I lose the stress eating weight, but at least I don’t have any stress about losing the weight.  Worst comes to worst, the dress will still fit and look good, but I’m still motivated to lose the slight stomach pudge 🙂
