My dress came in 2 weeks ago, but wasnt supposed to be here until Nov/Dec. I was kinda amazed it came in so fast...I haven't lost all the weight I was trying to until that time...So I'm holding out, I'm kinda scared to try mine on too...not cause I won't like it, but cause I'm scared it won't fit or that I'll look fat!! AAARRGGHH...i hate deiting!
I'm alittle nervous mine won't fit either so we'll see tomorrow!!! I totally didn't think I'd get strapless either because I have no chest to hold it up but it was really beautiful and I loved it. I hope that I still feel the same way tomorrow!
Ohmygosh. I felt the same way this week. I found out that my dress had been shipped and then, out of the blue, right before I got here, I convinced myself that I hated it.
When I opened that box yesterday and pulled out my beautiful Melissa Sweet Vineyard dream dress all of those fears fluttered away. I'm more in love with it today than I was when I first slipped my head through the top.
Don't look at any more photos online. You got all flustered and red over it for a reason in the beginning! Don't pick it apart! Be okay with just loving you. I can almost promise that all of the same feelings will rush to you when you see it again.
Miss SoonToBee: That Melissa Sweet Vineyard dress to so pretty!!! You should have never had second thoughts!!
See what I mean? I knew it was amazing but still I had doubts.
I think everyone does that. It's so easy to second guess yourself once you get removed from it for awhile.
I bought my dress 10 months ago and just got it this week and love it 10 million times more than when I first saw it.
I had the "this is the one" moment like it sounds like you had. As nerdy as it sounds -that doesn't go away.

Hey, hive... So- I got the call I've been waiting for today... my wedding dress is in! Yay :)
I have been anxiously waiting for its arrival because I'm just not quite sure if I'm going to still love it. Is this normal? I remember getting choked up when I tried it on and getting really hot and overwhelmed. No other dress compared... but now when I look at the pictures, I feel like its not good for my body type. I am going tomorrow afternoon with my MOH to try it on and she'll see it for the first time. I'm so nervous and excited!
I'm so afraid that it doesn't look good on my body type. It was actually a really good deal- only $560 which I think is AMAZING! But, if I try it on tomorrow and hate it, then I know buying another dress won't be a huge deal because most girls spend $1000 + on one dress. I just hope I put it on and get the same feeling.
Is this normal?
