i thought having to wait 4 months for my Vera Wang dress to FINALLY get here was long enough.. and then I was so freakin happy that the dress got here 3 days earlier than I had marked on my calendar. But now I have to wait 2 weeks because I have to schedule a “gown viewing”!!!
Argh. Has anyone else had this experience?!! Its SO frustrating. All I want to do is pick up my dress ASAP and try it on at home, prance around in it, twirl a little bit, pile on all the wedding accessories I’ve been collecting, and start the editing process. Apparently, if I open the box off-site, Vera Wang won’t do the alterations because of “liability issues.” And I’m too afraid to find someone else to alter the dress (if it needs any alterations at all!)
AAAHHH THE WAITING GAME SUUUUUUCKS.
On another note, hopefully I will be able to snap some good pictures during the gown viewing to post on the board 🙂
Anyone have keys to the alterations showroom on 26th street? Let’s break in and take a peek!

As the Tom Petty song goes “the wa-ai-ting is the hardest part”!!!!
My dress will FINALLY be done with alterations tomorrow and I cannot WAIT to get it. I think I won’t even need an alarm clock to wake up in the morning…LOL!!!
Just keep yourself busy with other things and it’ll go by quicker than you think. Then you can come here and post pics so we Bees can ooh & ahh over it

@AutumnElegance: CONGRATULATIONS!! it will be coming up very very soon.. its nearly June already!
all this waiting makes it so difficult to decide on accessories like veils… especially when the veils are made to order as well and thats even more waiting!

@w3ndy: I know, I am freaking out about accessories. I keep changing my mind about jewelry and veil styles. I think finally getting to put the dress on again will REALLY help! I’m pretty sure I’m going to be trying it on many times a week when i first bring it home 🙂
