I can't believe BFF and I both forgot all about it! We were at her house working on invites, and I had picked up my dress from the alterations place earlier that day and am keeping it at her house til the wedding. I hung it on her closet door after I tried it on and didn't think anything of it. FI texted me a few hours later saying he was coming over and I was like sure no problem. He comes over and hangs out while we work on the invites until we finally had to go home and go to sleep for work the next day. BFF and I get up and walk out the door after him and we are both confronted with my dress hanging there plain as day on the closet door!!  Neither of us said anything since he was right there, and as soon as I got in my car (thankfully we were driving separate cars) and I called her immediately to flip out the whole way home. I get home and ask if he saw it and he said he didn't.  I asked a few more times and he swore he didn't. I was like "but it was hanging right there" and he said "why would I look at her clothes anyway????"

Lol, such a man thing. I would have noticed immediately! Crisis averted for now, but I won't make that mistake again!

Oh god I wouldn't have been able to pick my stomach up off the floor or been able to restart my heart if that had happened to me.

He almost saw thumbnails of my dress a couple weeks ago because I forgot the folder was open on my screen and that was scary enough. Plus I'm so scared I'm going to say something to describe it like something about the flowers or the empire waist or flowyness I already slipped and told him it wasn't puffy (like ballgowny)

Yeah, I about fell down her steps and think I may have taken a bite out of my heart.  I never thought I would be so thankful for his obliviousness Tongue out

Totally clueless I tell you!! But it really helps when I raid the clearance section of one of my fave clothing stores and bring home lots of goodies. He has no idea how new some of the clothes actually are...

The good thing with most guys is they'll forget what something looked like the minute after they see it. ESPECIALLY girls clothing!

Haha. my FI always notices when I wear something new! He has this sensor or something that just tells him, I swear. He's well trained, though. He won't look in our closet because he saw my dress bag once and flipped! He though he'd be able to see my dress through it. lol.

Oh men hardly notice our clothing choices. That is one less thing to worry about

Thank goodness he didn't see it!!! *phew*

I could hang my dress in our own closet and FI would probably never notice. That's how much he doesn't care. lol.

Haha, the worst thing about it was that it was just in the see thru dry cleaners bag, so had he actually looked he would have been able to see what it looked like!  I only have one dress bag and my original dress is still in there cuz I haven't sold it yet

Oh my god! I would have freaked out just like you! But the thing is, my FI probably WOULD have noticed. He can be oblivious to some things, but I think he would notice it if it were right in front of him.

Honestly, some men are not 'obvious' creatures. Yes, a wedding dress would have been stark obvious to one of us - but to a man who is in his FI's friend's home... he's right, he probably didn't think a second thing about it. Even if he did - it's 100% different to see a dress on a hanger in a quick glance, and then to see it on the beautiful bride. :)

I can relate, my computer crashed while I was looking at pictures of me in my dress.

When My FI came over after work he turned on my pc and there I was!

He quickly closed my pc. He won't remember what it looked like a year from now, so Im not worried.

He cant even remember what style dress it is now, I am so glad he closed my pc quickly...haha
