Please ignore the gray blobs..
I was wondering if I should just leave my dress as is (1st picture) or cinch the hips a little bit (2nd picture). Yes my dress is not fitted yet to the chest area (2nd pic is not laced up so my chest looks a little funny)
As IS (not wearing crinoline in here):
Holding part of hips down, with crinoline:
Sorry, this pic’s quality is kinda bad but i am holding the sides near my hip a little tighter. My mom said she can fix it like that if I want to….note that the 2nd pic has a crinoline, the 1st one doesn’t.
What do you think of the dress? 🙂

I would definitely cinch, but I love mermaids so I am biased.

Cinch and crini! I loveee that as a mermaid on you!

I don’t love mermaids/trumpets as much as a-lines and ballgowns, but I would definitely say to cinch it. It looks amazing like that on you!! Really flatters your figure better!

make a poll! but def number 2

Add a poll
I love the mermaide look on you, it really accentuates your figure

I love the look in pic 2! Beautiful dress.

I’m not big on mermaid gowns, so I say as is!

I like the way it looks cinched much better! Defines your figure!

cinch! your body is thin and it makes you look 30 lbs lighter!!!

I wasn’t sure I would like your suggestion for alterations, but when I saw the picture I was thinking how amazing it looks on you in the mermaid fit! Go for it!

Yeaaaa…I have been debating between the two. The way I stand sometimes when the dress is “as is” makes it look mermaid-y too.

You might want to add a poll. But I think it’s what your taste is. Do you want a fit/flare or do you want a mermaid? Both look good!
