I am so happy!
It was tough for me to find a ring that was simple and sturdy. I’m not the blingiest person, and I wanted something I could wear everyday and not worry about my ring getting scuffed up.
I came across Moissanite via the Bee (thanks for all the Moissy porn, everyone!), and fell in love with the stone. After lurking through ring posts, I also fell in love with bezels!
When I came across this ring on Etsy, and I knew this was what I was searching for! It suits me so well.
We’re not officially engaged yet, as my SO wants to propose in person (we’re long distance). In order to avoid customs fees to ship it to the UK, we had the ring shipped to me here, and I will bring it over with me when I visit for Christmas.
So now I must reseal the box and hide it away in order to keep myself from wearing it! I love it (and the dear SO) so much. I can’t wait to make things official!
So here is my lovely 5mm cushion Moissanite bezel e-ring in palladium (size 5, for finger reference).
Also, I have a question for you all – the shank of my e-ring is 3mm, and because I have somewhat short fingers, I think getting a 3mm matching wedding band might give me too much coverage. I’m thinking I might go for a plain 2mm wedding band, but I don’t want that to look weird. Does anyone have pics of their ring set with a wedding band narrower than the e-ring? Especially if it’s a 3mm e-ring and 2mm wedding band!

Its perfect I love it congrats!!!

it is beautiful! I don’t think it would look weird if the wedding band is slightly smaller than the e-ring.

Wow, your ring is beautiful! I absolutely love bezels!
My ering is 3mm, and my band is 2mm. I definitely prefer a band that is smaller than the e-ring! (sorry for the huge picture!)

Very different, I like that on you 🙂

i love the ring and the setting is great. my rings are semi-bezels.
i think you could go with either. definitely try on both a 2mm and a 3mm. there isn’t a huge difference. a 3mm will not overpower your finger.

Pretty!! Congrats, I love it. I voted for the smaller band too, I think it would look great with your ring.

Oh my goodness, it is just DREAMY! Congratulations! I think a matching width wedding band would look perfect

@bowsergirl: I just LOVE that!! I think a 3mm band would look great but I may be baised because I have matching 3mm setting and wedding band & I love thicker bands. I also have short fingers like you and it looks just fine. I like metal and the extra coverage.

Thanks everyone! It is a bit different, which is exactly what I wanted! Something that isn’t flashy, but it still stands out.
@Holocene: Your mismatched widths do look good!
@JustLove25: I like metal too, which is why I just want a plain wedding band. I do love all your sets, and think the matching 3mm looks so nice on you.

I love the look of the smaller bands! I don’t have any pictures of mine but I saw this online…
There are a few different ones on the site if you scroll down.
Hope it helps! And congrats! It’s gorgeous!
