Awww that's aweful!!
When I got my ring and after a weekend I had to take it back to be resized and it took 15 days!!!
I'd be upset about the diamond not set right, but not about the size. You chose the size, and fingers definitely change sizes as the seasons change; if I had my ring sized to my "winter size", I wouldn't be able to get it on during the summer!
@abbyful I did choose the size (the correct one, when we picked the setting toether and I got measured in the summer), but they gave my fiance a size up from what it was supposed to be when he picked it up (the wrong size) which is why it didn't fit great initially but now that it's really cold it's wayyyy too big
My FI got my ring at Steven Singer as well and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. I'm sorry to hear that your experience has been the opposite, but I'd definitely suggest trying again. My finger fluctuates in size constantly and they always take care of it, for free. I hate leaving it for more than a day as well, so our sales guys, Joe suggested that I just call in advance to find out how their schedule looks that week/day... and when they're less busy they can get it back to me that same day. I know the weather's been cold but now my ring spins now around my finger! I brought it to a local jeweler and they told me it is actually a size too big :( They also noticed one of the side diamonds is set wrong and will definitely fall out! Grrr! My FH got the ring from Steven Singer in Philly and I'm not going to be around there for awhile :( When he called to let them know all this they said they'd fix it but it might not be done in 1 day! (Even though my local jeweler would have it done same day, for $100) Of course we're not going to pay to have it fixed when SS screwed it up but I'm so annoyed. Sorry had to vent!
