Weddingbee boards

I fell in love with Mon Cheri Rhiannon but couldn't justify spending $1,200 on a dress I would wear for only six hours or so.  Then I went to David's Bridal and found a Galina Signature that was very similar but I still couldn't talk myself into spending the $600.  During a search for a flowy chiffon dress I found an Ebay seller from China who used the Rhiannon as their picture so after much research I decided to take the chance and order the dress ($126 plus $26 to make it to my measurements--free shipping). 

My FI called me yesterday while I was at work and told me the package was there and I was a WRECK!  I was so nervous that it was going to be crap material or poorly made.  OMG.....it's SPECTACULAR!!!  My daughter and I opened the package and the first thing we saw were the jeweled accents and they took our breath away they were so gorgeous.  Much pretty than the David's dress and even nicer than the Mon Cheri.  The fabric is amazing and the workmanship is perfect.  The only slightly negative thing I can say about this dress is that the embellishment on the back of the dress isn't as nice as the front (it's more of a sequin type thing than jewels) but considering I'll only be showing that part of the dress during the ceremony and the embellishment shines beautifully (for great pictures) I'm fine with it.

Just wanted to let you all know that I took a huge chance and it worked out fantastic!   I wasn't able to get a picture of it on me (I will tonight) but I took one with my daughter holding it and you can see the gorgeous chiffon and jeweled embellishments.  If anyone is interested I can post more pictures tomorrow with it on.  PM me if you want the name of the seller.  Oh, and my daughter is thrilled because they sent a gift of a pearl necklace, which I let her keep since I have a pair of pearls already. 

  Thank you!  I can't wait to try it on with my FMIL tonight!  I put it on last night but my daughter couldn't corset me in so I didn't bother taking a picture of it on me since it wouldn't look right.  But I have to admit when I put it on; I didn't want to take it off!  The chiffon is buttery soft and so luxurious feeling.

Glad to see positive feedback from Ebay orders!! I didn't have the great experience you did; but that's because I ordered a dress with Lace. I say anything without lace would be worth trying out!!! I'd love to see more pictures!!!!!!!!!!1

@CinnamonStick:   I was totally apprehensive purchasing from an eBay seller from China too but I have to say with all the research I did I think you have a great chance at getting a beautiful dress if the dress isn’t too intricate, isn’t lace, and you’re not too picky and want it to be exactly like the original.  There were other sellers that had my dress for a little cheaper but I made sure I read ALL the reviews and the fact that they had 100% feedback (255 dresses sold) and they had the gold stamp as a Top Rated Seller from eBay was important to me.

I'm counting down the hours until I can try it on again and get pictures!!!!
