My engagement ring is very unique. What type of wedding band should I get?

@laeuba:  Were you thinking about with or without stones? I like this one, but it’s 6mm, which is rather thick for a woman with an engagement ring. But I like the thought of the style with you e-ring. Maybe you could hunt down something similar in a 3 or 4mm.

I personally really like the matching one with diamonds set in it, http://www.sholdtdesign.com/Lynden/R535D.htm.  I know you said you want something different but complimentary….can you elaborate on that?  Do you want something with a brushed or ferm finish, or with shine to it?  Maybe a diamond eternity band would look interesting with it?

@laeuba:  My only idea was to have straight lines and milgrain to tie them together.

I think a narrow, half or full eternity band (with milgrain detailing if possible) would look beautiful!

@laeuba:  Too strange!  I work with a girl that has this exact same ring!

@laeuba:  yes! Channel set eternity bands with milgrain are stunning. Also some more unique options… I just did a quick google search for ‘eternity band with milgrain’ and so many pretties popped up. 🙂

@laeuba:  also def go try some on next to your e-ring, you might find you love how something totally unpredictable looks too.

@laeuba:  Well, the shank of your e-ring has straight lines, the pattern on the band. So I (personally) wouldn’t go for something like scrolls or flowers, etc… I would go with something that also has straight lines, like the one I linked to. It mixes texture and finish, but carries straight lines like your e-ring.
