@throughthebarricades: Ha! It only sparkles when I remember to clean it properly - bit of a tomboy this jewellery malarky is new to me. When we went to get it resized our jeweler (nicely) ticked me off about not keeping it clean - woops!

@curlywurly88: I think you (and your SO) made the best choice with this setting. It is so delicate and exquisite (the two words I reserve for a ring I like). I especially love that you stayed true to the stones and did not try to add a chunky halo (an unwelcome trend, in my opnion). If I were to see this on someone who just walked by, I would think, wow, that's a very pretty ring, and she's legit.
@skjumps: Thank you, the ring was purchased ready made (the norm for the UK as far as I'm aware) by my partner without my knowledge. We really appreciate the handiwork of the jeweller.

I've been engaged for almost a year, and the whole thing has been low key, so I've never had that 'look at my ring!' moment.
I know it's absolutely tiny by Bee standards, but I love it and wouldn't change it for the world :)
These pics were taking a few hours after my partner proposed, after we got back to the hotel, and the ring is clearly too big for me :D
It's 18k White Gold with 0.33 ct Centre stone. I don't know the overall weight but probably not much more that that. Some of the pave stones have symmetrical flaws which I personallly adore as I know for sure it is mine :)
