Now, for anyone who knows me well, you would never think that buying a pair of shoes would be something that had the ability to frustrate me beyond belief. I own far too many pairs of shoes for my own good, and have accumulated quite an impressive collection over the years. Life is too short to be wearing boring shoes!

Now, you know, whenever you are actually LOOKING for something, you will never find it. I even have a "shoe boyfriend" at Nordstrom, my beloved Victor, who never seems to fail at knowing what I will like. I naturally started my search there...I'm not willing to purchase a shoe anywhere else for the most part. I tried on shoe after shoe, and wasn't too excited. I ended up spending $285 on a pair of kate spade slingbacks in rose gold. They were pretty...but something wasn't right. They weren't fun enough...it was bugging me!

And then...I found them! I have 2 pairs of this shoe already in different colors that I have accumulated over the years, and I saw that Enzo Angiolini has their 'Merry Ann' pump in 3 wedding friendly colors this season; yellow, white/pearl, and pastel pink snakeskin! And what is even better is the price; $79.95. These are one of the most comfortable pumps that I own; I can wear them all day, and I have worn the dickens out of the 2 pairs that I already have. There were only 17 pairs of size 7 1/2 left in the country, so I had to ship them to my house. I have been impatiently waiting for them to arrive for over a week, and my (im)patience paid off yesterday!

Soooo - what do we think? :)

I think they're awesome! I love unique ideas for weddings and this is totally not the plain, old boring white heeled strappy shoes. What color is your dress? I'd love to see how the dress and shoes look together.

Thanks all! My dress is all lace - its ivory...I don't have a picture of myself in it yet, as the shop won't let me take pictures until I go in for a fitting. Now that i have the shoes, I have to make an appt to go back in to be fitted...and I'll be snapping quite a few pics (even though it will be in the sample dress, which is quite large on me...itll at least give everyone an idea!).  But, I'll attach a stock photo of the dress for now!

I have those!!!! They're not my wedding shoes but they are part of my Enzo peep toe "collection." Just like you I have them in multiple colors and textures, (7 total). they are my most favorite shoes. I wear them everywhere. Casual and dressy. I think they'll look great with your dress.

Meowkers - They are SO worth every penny, aren't they? I have some candy apple red ones, red and white polka dot ones, and pewter snakeskin (and of course, now the yellow ones!). It is going to be SOOOO hard to not wear them before my wedding day!

Katie - yes they are worth every penny. I have them in regular white, crock skin brown, snack skin patten leather candy apple red, pattent leather crock black and pewter, the yellow ones you have and light pink. I love them all and I think my little collection will continue growing.

Grey56 - I got the pewter ones about a year or so ago...I don't know if I've seen them in stores anymore at this point...perhaps ebay??? That one in particular is called the Maylie pump if you are doing a search...
