Funny, I’m using the exact same colors in my fabric/brooch bouquet – they’re so gorgeous!  I’m doing mine with satin, chiffon, and another random polyester fabric.

@jpmurd09:  It turned out great! I’m just starting mine, using tutorials on the bee as well. I made one flower last night for a trial and it turned out ok. I’m sure once I get a couple more practice flowers done they will start to look better. How long did it take you to make it?

@jpmurd09:  TBH, I don’t think it looks chintzy at all! Especially in the further-away photos I think it looks very well-done and lush. Good work!
