Gorgeous, my dear! I'm going the fake route, as well. I like the idea of having it ready to go before the wedding, as well as that I can keep it after the ceremony! :)
@brideatbeach: Exactly! When FI's mom brought out the cobalt blue cup to take pictures in, I knew thats the kind of vase I wanted for when we permanently display it. I'm beyond happy, this is everything that I wanted :)

@PurpleUnicorn: This is a pretty full bouquet (for me, I'm small) but I was so surprised this bouquet came out to $50! Flowers are always 50% off at Hobby Lobby so that definitely helped but they have the biggest selection of flowers I've ever seen too.
I wouldn't have guesses those were fake flowers if you hadn't mentioned it. Very pretty!
Yay! I'm so glad you guys think these look real. I wondered if I should leave out the fake part and see what everyone thought, but so many brides worry over fake flowers I thought I'd let everyone know up front. I hope this makes those girls that are fretting over it feel better! Fake flowers can look awesome!

I think @doctorbee28 was just giving an honest opinion, which she is allowed to do.
@arenyth:Excuse me, I don't know why you have an attitude but I was just giving my opinion. When you post things for others to see, you will get opinions. No need to be snarky. If you really didn't care you wouldn't have said anything to me.
Ok, sorry it was just a gut reaction. I didn't mean to imply she wasn't allowed to post an opinion, I just don't see the point in being negative after everyone else was positive. I was very happy about my bouquet and she just brought me down.
@doctorbee28: I apologize, just after so many threads of real vs. fake I was finally happy with my choice, and I wanted to show girls that it was possible to have a nice bouquet. I shouldn't let it get to me, but this is something I fretted over for months and after so many positive reactions you really hurt my feelings. Obviously saying I don't care was being defensive.
@arenyth:I was absolutely NOT trying to bring you down. I was just giving my honest opinion. If you aren't prepared to take a little criticism you really shouldn't post wedding details. I didn't say anything mean, just said what I thought. I'm sorry you took it the wrong way.
I love it!! Our bouquets are also fake, and I love the fact that it sits on my entertainment center so I can see it everyday forever :) Mine is in the center and the bridesmaids are along the outside
Mine is also fake flowers from hobby lobby! This is it in a not quite finished state. The flash lighting doesn't do them justice, but they look great in natural light.
@MaiFuture: yay! We're using the same ranunculus (sp?) I looove that flower I told her to put as many in as possible. Yours is coming out great, I would add a few smaller buds or flowers to fill in the spaces between, I really thought thats what pulled mine together :) Can't wait to see the finished product!
@MrsSl82be: Yea I'm so excited that I will always get to keep my bouquet, I can't wait to see how the BM's bouquets come out. Yours are so pretty! I'll admit your second picture scared the crap out of me, the girls faces look like something out of the Ring haha!

Totally!!! When I told my florist our colors, she said in her 30 years as a florist, no bride has EVER chosen those colors. I LOVE THEM!

I've been debating fake flowers vs real flowers for so long... I'm against using fresh flowers that will die immediately, but you can't deny how pretty they are. My FFIL owns a Hobby Lobby and offered to make our flowers, but I was so scared I would hate it and just have to deal with it. But this weekend we visited for thanksgiving and I sat down with their florist and she put this together for me, and it is SO BEAUTIFUL! Hobby Lobby has such gorgeous flowers, I really recommend them if you want to do a fake bouquet!
