@242beauty:  This would make me sick to my stomach… I know of 2 guys who each slept with strippers at their bachelor parties. On both occasions both the father of the groom and the father of the bride knew what was going on and encouraged him to sleep with the stripper. It’s disgusting.

I was just away last week for a bachelorette weekend with the bride that I am a bridesmaid for, and one of the nights, we went to a bar and met a bachelor party in which the groom was getting married the next afternoon.  He exchanged numbers with one of the girls in our group, and overnight while we slept, he had called 16 TIMES, left four voicemails, and two text messages.  The next morning he was trying hard just mere hours before his wedding to sleep with the girl in our party!  Disgusting….  But it makes you realize that waiting is worth it if it means you will end up with someone loyal and devoted. 🙂

I’m not sure how you reach the conclusion  in the title of your thread.  Crass as he was I doubt very much that he meant any of that in a literal way, especially sitting right there in front of you.  It was crude humor.  The flirting is distasteful and seems to fit right in with his history,   but you don’t know that he followed up on any of it.

It was nice of him to offer to pay for the ring and even nicer that your FI turned him down.

That’s sad and weird 🙁 Dads are supposed to skin any guy who cheats on their daughter! Though in my case what my mom would do to the guy would be worse, hahah.

The good news is that it sounds like if you have kids, your SO would be a devoted dad 🙂
