hahaha that's funny! my fi is almost as bad...we live in ontario and are getting married in Nova Scotia...all the snow we just got here must be driving your fi crazy since he's here in Ontario! lol
my SO is obsessed with video games lol I KNOW. Not the modern warfare halo kinds, the RPG Final Fantasy kind...he's like a big child...
@farmgirlnfarmboy: If the texts weren't so annoying it would be funny, I know that he's just sitting there in his truck just looking at all of the snow going and it's driving him crazy. I would be very surprised if he weren't out shovelling the parking lot of the truck stop in Cardnal.
@eloping: Lol I have suggested it but he says that he can do a better job; maybe I will buy one for me though :)
My fiancé is completely obesessed with ironing his clothes. I'm not talking nice, dress shirts, like dirty old baseball t-shirts are ironed after they're out of the laundry. It's a little ridiculous, but it makes him happy!
@MissTX: I can relate to that, everytime a new call of dut ycomes out I become a video game widow.
@andersonsarah: He's almost as bad with the lawn as he is with the driveway, I thought I would be nice and mow the lawn last summer when FI came home he re-mowed it, aparently I went in the wrong direction. Didn't even know that was possible.
ditto the video games, although for DH it's World of Warcraft...omg ya I know lol \
@mkathleenwhite lol that's hilarious, I thought I was the only one! My FI went out and purchased a crazy huge tractor to blow out our driveway, we live in Ontario and this winter he has used it once!! I think he wishes there was more snow this year, just so he can blow out the driveway!
Motorcycles... omg he knows everything about every motorcycle ever made... somehow in the past 4 months we have acquired 3 dirtbikes and he does the maintenance on both our bikes, even when there is nothing that really needs to be done... and he is always searching craigslist and ebay for "dream bikes" LoL. I love it though.
My FI is obsessed with making sure he has gas in his truck. He doesn't work or go to school, so he basically never drives it unless he has a drs appointment. But if it gets below 1/4 tank, I get alot of flak for not wanting to pay for him to drive 10 miles to the E85 station just to fill it up. He can wait until we are over that way again. Ugh.
@mkathleenwhite: That is adorable and hilarious! I can say that because I'm not the one receiving all the texts, lol.
My FI isn't really obsessed with anything that I can think of right now but this thread is cute!
@spicyrutabaga: lol, nice to know I'm not the only one :) Maybe we should start a support group for them.
Thank you so much you beautiful Bees; you make me realise that my FI isn't the only one out there that obsesses about things that we find utterly rediculous. :)
ANYTHING related to Resident Evil... He watches other people play on youtube when he is tired of playing. It's so strange lol.
@HappilyEverAfter54: my FI is always checking out youtube videos of the call of duty levels, so I can totally relate. In fact he regularly schudles man dates with his best friend to play the zombie levels.
@Sutaru: LOL I feel your pain! My fiance is downstairs now playing that exact same game..and has been constantly for the last couple weeks. I hear him playing it at 1am too.. and is trying to get me in on it and play too. We must free our men from this game haha.
for some reason FI is obsessed with making his video games pretty. He is constantly downloading new mods for skyrim, etc, and making me watch to see "how pretty it is now"
...I see no difference what-so-ever lol.
Also he is randomly really obsessed with our household plants. We only have like, a bamboo plant in a vase, and those tiny kits from target where you plant the seeds. Sometimes I'll come home and he'll have moved them to the window and opened the blinds. Its actually kind of cute.
Current obsession is remote controlled cars. We bought our stepson a car for Christmas and now DH is just all over it. He used to race them before I meet him but now it's out of control. We were at the racetrack last weekend for 8 HOURS!
Before that it was the Uncharted video games, and he is an avid DVD collector so that's always going on with him too.
mine is obsessed with video games, at least it's easy to shop for him though!
I, too, am a video game widow. He's currently playing Skyrim, SWTOR, and FFXIII-2. When Mass Effect 3 comes out, he'll be playing that too.
mine is waiting for Grand Theft Auto V to come out, he used to choose to spend time at home playing video games rather than hang out with me, but now he is much better, still loves to play video games for hours on end though
Internet forums like Fark...but that's okay because I sit next to him while he does it...being careful not to let him see that I'm on Weddingbee lol
My hubby is obsessed with and "With Friends" games. Words with friends, Scramble with friends and Hanging with friends. Its so annoying because he's really good and competitive so were always fighting about the score. LOL!
Playing sudoku, tabletop gaming, creative writing, drawing, reading cracked.com articles, and listening to funny songs/comedy skits XD We share a lot of the same except the last two on the list he likes a lot more than me and it actually annoys me sometimes XDDD
My husband is really obsessed with the outside lights! He's always so pround of them when they're on, looking good and displaying the right bush etc. But if one goes out and he can't figure out why he's so upset!

The driveway, everytime it snows he has to go straight outside and scrape it completely clean. We live in New Brunswick, Canada so we get a lot of snow. Even now he is texting me from a truck stop in Ontario (1500KM's away) worrying about if I shoveled the driveway.
I know that my FI can't possible be the only man out there to stress out about silly things, what silly or odd thing does your FI/SO/DH obsess about?
