Wow Im so glad he is ok. I as well had a near fetal accident back in 2004 and I couldnt agree more.. you really learn whats important in life. Life is such a blessing!
glad he is okay, i can sympathize with the fear.. my ex was a race car driver and was almost killed on more than one occasion... glad he is okay, and it's amazing the things god will throw your way just to make you realize what is really important
Wow I'm glad he is okay, but I would never be able to handle that long term!
Wow! I'm so glad he is ok! And you are right about what really matters. Hope all else goes well for you!
At first I thought you had posted he had died. Thank god he's ok. A friend of mine lost her FI a couple of years back and was devastated -- it does help you put things into perspective and know what really matters in life.
Thank you for posting that. I think it helps with the stress when thinking about what really matters. I am so glad he is OK.
Thank you for all your good wishes and support! We are doing really well, all things considered. He is in lots of pain at the moment, but the doctors assure us it will go after some time. I am just grateful he is alive.
Many blessings to all of you!
Nat

Not sure if many people followed my wedding planning woes, but we were trying now, for the 3rd time to plan our wedding. We had finally sort of ironed out all the kinks, with the family and where to have it. Not thrilled about most of the compromises, but what can you do. Then, out of nowhere, bad luck finds us, and gives us something to really complain about.....
My FI is a race car driver. He was racing a Hill Climb last Friday and by some crazy bad luck a small rock flew up from the ground and landed in the throttle. His gas pedal got stuck because of us and his car flew right into the guard rail. The only thing stopping my beloved and his car from falling down the 90 degree agle, cliff into oblivion, was his head. His head was stuck between the guard rail and the seat of his car. Luckily he was conscious and able to tell the Paramedics what Not to do as they were about to saw the rail. This would have freed him and the car, and he would have fallen to his death. He did slice his forehead wide open and had to have plastic surgery after being rushed into emergency. He is lucky that he suffered no other serious injuries and is walking, talking and able to recall the whole, terrible ordeal.
My point was for all of the brides who are so caught up in the intricate details/dilemmas and problems in the wedding planning process, just like I was... Something like this, really makes you realise what really matters in this life. I wanted to share this in the hope that maybe for some, those sleepless nights about which flower, which relative is coming that they don't like, which centrepiece, may end.
Just remember how lucky you are to have your health and your loved one. You never know what can happen in a moment, that can change your life forever.
