I definitely would want to know ahead of time. I like reading reviews, looking at pictures, checking out the location etc. It would drive me insane to not know, but it works for some people.

I’d rather know so I can plan destinations and check out places. Also, reviews are super important (At least to my husband and I) so that would be nice to look at, too.

My FI told me where it is and I’m super grateful for it, yet I can see the appeal of surprise. But seriously, warm could mean swimsuit weather or shorts and tank tops weather. So yeah, I appreciate knowing. =)

@baileyjosephine:  I like surprises, but not for that. I would hate not knowing anything. Maybe if a country or region was agreed on and the rest were surprises, that would be fun!

I’m a control freak so yes I would prefer to know ahead of time. I’m personally not good with surprises lol

@baileyjosephine:  Exactly! Warm Caribbean is toootally different from warm Africa, for instance. I’d be frustrated, but I am sure you’ll have a great time no matter what!

I wish I could be laid back enough to enjoy a surprise honeymoon (or any big ticket vacation really), but I’m not. Then again it’s because between the two of us, I’m the planner. He would be pretty uncomfortable taking that task on anyway.
