My parents are coming into town today.... seeing as how we're kinda underway with planning and meeting with the priest I had kinda asked if he could make it so that my mom and I could go dress shopping while she's here.... a while back.  (she's staying an extra few days.  I had to cryptically convince her because I thought I was getting engaged a while ago!) He keeps asking me not to tell my mom, etc... and he HAS already talked to my dad.

Then, his mom calls me the other day and says "we'll take care of the turkey, you don't need to do everything... I want this to be a "special holiday for you TWO."  So she obviously wasn't talking about the fact that my parents are coming to town.  And we've done this same thing, our families combined for a few years!

Is this my final countdown to being crossed off the list?

Lol, he came over last night and said something while we were cuddling like "I just hope everything works out."  And since I always "get in trouble" for reading into stuff I said "I know, I think dinner will turn out great though." :-P  He says, "I'm not talking about dinner..." I replied, "I know, I hope things work out well too.. but you know... your a piece of work.  you don't want me to read into stuff and you go and say cryptic things like "I hope everything works out. What else could you be referring too?" :) lol, "You're right, Im sorry..." And we laughed....

.... Oh, I so hope it happens soon!

So, parents are in... we all went out to dinner at my favorite restaurant last night... my parents love it too... I kinda felt bad but since I don't know when or how I can't just be like "let's not go and leave it for another night..." haha.

While we were leaving we drove separately since I had my parents to take back to the hotel and he was going to follow me then come over to my house. Well, he should have turned left at the light.  He turned right.  What's to the right.... a way for him to get into the mall where I fell in love with a setting.... It took him forEVER to get to my house.

"Hey love, what took you so long."

"Sorry, had to drop something off at the post office." (ahem, that would have been a left turn too... :-)

OH THE SUSPENSE! And yes, it is possible he didn't go to the mall.... But in my mind i'd like to think he was checking on the ring or getting it or ya know... something for it to happen soon!

oooo how exciting! i hope it happens for you realllllly soon! sounds very fishy that he turned right and took forever to get home. he was obviously hoping that your parents would keep you occupied enough that you wouldn't notice he was missing! haha.
