i know that heart-dropping feeling of "where is my ring???"--lasts only for a second, but still scary! that's really sweet that you're getting them engraved, and you'll have it back very soon! what are you two having engraved on the rings?
My engagement ring is at the jeweler's today. So all i'm wearing is one thin diamond band instead of my three blingaling pieces put together.
I'm waiting for someone to ask where it is =]. my finger is nekkid!
Not to mention i spray tanned and there is a big white tan line around my wedding band. Looks hot if you ask me =]
haha it'll be worse if you have a suntan at all - then not only will you be one ring lighter but have a big ol' tan line!
ETA - EJS! you beat me to it with the tan, ha! I just took my rings off and not only does my finger look all dented where the rings go (they're not comfort-fitty) but i have a thin white line ;)
@melissabegins, it looks SO obvious to me =]. But i guess not to anybody else. I've been compilmented many times on my tan! Thanks stuff-in-a-can =]
I have to take my rings in next week to get sized and solder together. Mind you my engagement ring fits inside my wedding bands, it's one of the wrap styles. Ahh im freaking out, i have just over a month till the wedding. I don't want to be without my ring, especially because in the upcoming weeks i have my bachelorette part, 4th of July, etc. I went and bought a fake cheapo to wear in the meantime. How pathetic am I! hehe
when i took mine in a few months ago to get resized and the diamond lowered, i wore a rubber band around my finger for 4 days..it was WEIRD not having it on!
LOL i 100% know how u feel. last yr when we got our wedding bands we also discovered my ring E ring was still not small enough ..so i had to part with my ring for about a week I WAS GOING CRAZY...felt incomplete..and like u had freak out moments!
I also feel weird when i take them off now to do some house work :)
Im not sure what we are going to put yet but better decide quickly, DH is dropping them off on his way home from work in about an hour! I say "I heart you" alot to him and thats the first thing that popped in my head when I thought about an engraving so I think Im going to do that with our wedding date. Im not sure what he will put in mine but I know he'll ask before he picks :) I think he will do something like "I love you more" because everytime I say "I love you" that is his response :)
hahah aww, I miss my E-ring when I take it off for 10 mins to shower, so I know what you mean!

DH is taking our wedding bands to get engraved today so we can have it finally done by our one year anniversary this weekend. But Im so used to wearing both my e-ring and wedding band that my finger looks totally weird with just the e-ring!!! I keep looking down and noticing it and having mini freak outs that my band isnt there until I realize that DH has it haha. Im waiting for someone to ask me when Im getting married! :)
