Hey everyone! I finished my first wedding DIY today- cards for my maid of honour and bridesmaid.
I’m not a huge fan of the new “bridesmaid proposal” trend that seems to be popping up everywhere, but making cards is one of my hobbies, so how could I not? 😛
I’m going to ask my girls before I send them these, so they won’t be a huge surprise. Tell me what you think! I also made fabric envelopes for them to go in.
Inside…I put some pictures of us together (blurred because I don’t want to put my friends face on the bee without permission) and I’ll write a personal message.
All packaged up, ready to go!
what do you think bees?

hyzenthlay: I make cards/scrapbook as one of my hobbies so I had all the materials already…basically, I just stamped them (the words & arrows) using a few different stamp sets I have, and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder. Then I added some colourful paper, and drew the bridesmaids dresses and cut them out & added them on. Oh, and I used a paper edger to make the scalloped edge.
For the fabric envelopes, I just used modge podge on some fabric to make it stiff, then traced an envleope on the fabric, cut it out and folded it! Super easy.
