Hi Bees! I just finished my first attempt at hair and make up for the wedding. I could really use some thoughts since I’m DIY-ing the whole shebang.
If you pressed me to describe the look I want, I guess I’d say elven princess? Think Liv Tyler as Arwen in Lord of the Rings or maybe Miranda Otto as Eyown. So natural hair, pale skin, big eyes with a hint of the fairy tale.
My major decision is to do with my hair. I have a big old fringe and I can’t decide if I should have it down or not on the day. I also need to decide if I want all my hair swept off my face or if I want curly bits hanging down.
My first hair possibility. The hair bands would be covered by pretty hair pins on the day and hopefully my hair won’t be as frizzy ^^
The hair from the side with curls by my face and my make up.
The big old fringe I can’t decide what to do with.
Hair from the side without curls by my face.
Me in my backup wedding dress (way too big, I’m trying to hold it together.) All hair off my face here.
Second hairstyle from the side:
Second hairstyle from the back (I would have a metal pin of some kind on the day instead of the flower).
Close up of the make up with no hair by my face.
This is my actual dress in production:
Any help and critique would be brilliant!

I really love everything about your second hairstyle. I think its perfect. I also love your makeup and don’t think you should change a thing.

I love the second hairstlye and I love the makeup but I would add some shadow to make it a little less of an every day look.

@Demi-chan: I love the first hairstyle, but there r a lot of fly aways and find rubber bands the color of your hair. I believe garnier fructis has a fly away solution. Make up looks really good just a little more color on the eyes and ur perfect!

#2 is much more sophisticated. I think the first hairstyle, even with pins, is going to possibly look dated over time — it’s cute for everyday but a little casual (imho) for a wedding. Whereas your second hairstyle is classic, soft, gorgeous. I don’t think you can go wrong with it.

Stunning makeup, and the second hairstyle for sure – gorgeous!!

I’m normally not a fan of natural, muted make up but WOW you look so amazing! Fresh faced, romantic, love it!

love the second hairstyle and the makeup looks great although I think you need a bit more eye shadow like someone else said, to give it a little more of an evening, wedding feel.

Hair #2 is soft, romantic and beautiful. I like the makeup but like other bees suggested I would add a subtle/sheer eyeshadow just to add a little something to your eyes. You have beautiful green eyes!
