So I found some amazing pictures of crepe paper flowers and thought that since I have 2 years until my wedding, why not make some for pew decorations!?! My colors are dark purple, gold, and ivory with fall color accents, so the flowers I make will be yellow, red, and orange. Here are the first two roses I made!!

Those look really great, just a suggestion though you may want to get some big gallon or 2 gallon zip lock bags to store them in. If crepe paper is exposed to any humidity it will “wilt” (just like a real flower) and probably not be useable any more. If you have 2 years till the wedding thats a long time to properly store them!

I kind of winged it for the most part. I found some directions, but I got confused! I took some floral wire and folded it in half so it is more sturdy and wrapped some floral tape around it. Then I took the petals and wrapped them around the end of the wire. The inside takes a lot of petals, but its worth it! You need to tape every 1 or 2 petals so it holds its shape.
This is the most helpful website I found
And the petal template is
I also used the 2nd website to help shape the petals (pulling and curling them).
