    Good Afternoon fellow bees.

After search and thinking of ideas for my flower girls and ring bearer and realizing that buying them would be expensive. I decided to try my hand at DIY -ing it and I think it turn out pretty good. What do you think??  The FI says I should start selling them.... it may happen ;)

Thanks @happilyeverafter54 - my finger tips are a litte burn from the hot glue gun but it was worth it.. Now I'm trying to figure out what I want to make next. I saw this LED tree light branches(battery operated) in Garden Ridge as well and I though hmm I could put those in a vase with some clear beads or something and put them in the windows etc. I'm addicted to DIY now lol!

@LOGAHN1981: That dress looks awesome on you! What a really pretty dress, you're gorgeous in it! And I like your wedding colors too!

I haven't started any DIY yet.. I know I will make the invitations (currently working on them), fabric bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, a hand knitted lace silk shawl for me, bouts for the groom and his best men, place cards, fan looking programs.. that's what I can think of right now :D

Do you have any list of stuff that you would like to do?

As soon as I get my heart set on color theme, I will get the material for the bouqets and the paper and material for the invites.. DIY is soo fun!! :D

    Thank you so much!

I made my invites through 123.print and got 100 for 69.99 plus free shipping.  I got codes from retailmenot.com (it's amazing) and was able to get the RSVP cards etc for really cheap. We have gotten everything for the table  and the centerpieces cant be finished til the day of it's going to have live fish in them and a floating candle.

I would LOVE to make the bouts and bouquets but I'm not that talented at least I don't think so I'm leaving that to a florist it's about $150.00 for everthing including my bouquet so that;s not bad.

I'm thinking of what to do on the outside of the building so people will know where it is. Since it's in the city and will take place at night time (candlelight) wedding I need something outside to sat HEY THE WEDDINGS IN HERE LOL.. Any ideas???

Have you thought of a main color yet? Mine's was easy because we both like black!

A bigger sign like this perhaps ?? And maybe with a font and style that fits your wedding?

I just googled it quickly so you could get an idea of what I meant :D

I have never done fabric florals before, but they are so gorgeous I NEED to learn, and it's kinda a fun challenge :D

You have to post the other pics on your DIY projects :D

LOVE!!!! that idea. I could easily go to a craft store and get some type of wood board and paint it and that would give me another reason to buy those battery LED light branches.. I will for sure post more pics of DIY items that I do. More than likely I will sell them once I'm married. So you may see some items up for sale on here. Of course I refused to charge and arm and a leg for this stuff when it cost me close to nothing.

@MrsWeddingbliss exactly.. I'm super excited.. I wish I could find a cheap website for my chair covers. The cheapest site I found is going to cost me 175.00 for 80 renting them would cost me close to 250.00 ughh

@Ryna this was not my first choice I actually wanted fit and flare or mermaid but EVERYTHING I tried on in this shape looked like CRAP on me I'm tiny so the whole ballgown idea didn't sit well with me then she brought out this dress and I tried it one and it was awesome.

Thank you I was very excited to make them.

@LOGAHN1981: Ah, I think that is still a fair deal.. 80 chair covers for that price is kinda cheap if you compare the price of doing them yourself, after all, it is 80 chair covers right? Even cheaper than rentals? :D Or maybe you can go to IKEA. :D I LOVE IKEA. :)  But I don't think that would beat the 175$ though, course, it depends. How does the chair covers look? Post em pictures girl!  :)
