Here are some pics of my first practice bouquet.  I used a mix of real and fake flowers and discovered that without wirecutters, it is nearly impossible to trim the stems of fake flowers.  I plan on using real flowers for the actual wedding day, but I'm not sure what yet.  Dahlias, mini callas, roses, and billy buttons, perhaps?  I think I want my actual bouquet to be a little, but not too much, bigger.

    Any advice?

I don't have much flower knowledge, either.  Maybe the pink round things are thistle?  Whatever they are, they're fake!
