I hate wedding nightmares! I have them all the time. Most of the time they are about me not having enough time to get ready and walking down the aisle looking like a mess. I always wake up all stressed out!
I had so many of these leading up to the wedding. You're not alone!
I usually can't remember what the dream was, I just wake up knowing it wasn't going well... I remember one where my FI wanted to back out though.... was happy to wake up that night!
Haha. Now that I'm awake, it was kinda funny. The wedding was supposed to start at 7. At like 5, I laid my dress out (which was ugly pink with really old lace) when a homeless man came in and sat on it. He ripped it, and I ran around trying to get my step-dad to fix it but he ignored me! At 6 I realized I forgot the flower girl basket and started running around like a mad man trying to Make something like a boquet for her to carry. Then, I couldn't get my Dad to bring in my little brother so I could get him dressed in his ring bearer outfit, and my FSIL wouldn't bring in FI's niece so I could get her dressed. And no one would talk to me! They ignored me! at 7:30 my dress was still torn apart and I finally had my step-dad "working on it" when my sister came in to tell me since I wasn't ready everyone was starting to leave! And t hen I began to cry. By far the strangest dream EVER! lol.
i keep dreaming that it's the day of the wedding, but I'm still at the planning stage that I am right now - so the wedding is supposed to start but we have no florist, we haven't picked the catering menu or the ceremony music and I don't know what to say or where to go or what is supposed to happen during the ceremony. it's all very disconcerting and then a relief when I wake up and realize I still have 10 months to go ...
Haha I'm glad that I'm not alone. I love the part about the homeless guy sitting on your dress.
I recently had a dream the wedding was about to start but I hadn't confirmed with any vendors that they were actually coming and I still hadn't picked a dress out. And it was raining really hard and the tent hadn't arrived (we're having an outdoor wedding).
