I am beyond devistated. She found out on friday and has had pitocin ever since and cant seem to have enough strength to progress in labor. We are hoping they dont do a c section because they woul do it vertically and that would mean she cant have anymore babies. I ask for Prayers and Good vibes for my friend Kara, her baby Alivia and her family. please share this , they are hurting really badly right now.

So sad and she has my smpathies and prayers.
However, having a vertical C-section usually does not mean no babies! It means future babies will need to be delivered via C-section.

That is very very sad, I couldnt imagine. Like the above poster said… verticle csection doesnt mean no more babies.

What a horrible situation! My heart goes out to her. But FYI, a vertical incision (which isn’t a guarantee at 32weeks) doesn’t mean no more pregnancies, just no labor and vaginal delivery. Although there’s just no reason to do a C-section unless your friend herself becomes unstable. Good luck to her in dealing with this, how heartbreaking!

Her doctor said if they do the vertical c-section she wont be able to have anymore babies… so i dont know the reasoning behind it, Im just saying what her Dr said. They started Pitocin friday morning and she isnt even 1cm… so they scheduled the ultrasound for tomorrow at 5pm if she doesnt progress. I dont feel they are doing enough for her, my heart is breaking for her.
