My brother was scared his gf was doing that so made up excuses to not sleep with her. After they broke up he found out she had stopped taking the pill in a bid to get pregnant. I personally think she was an idiot. having a baby is a joint decision.

@BabyBrain:  good lord that is a terrible decision and terrible advice. Having a baby is a huge deal and not something to trick a man into. She’s nuts.

Babies should be a mutual decision!

I would feel AWFUL if I went behind DH’s back and did that!

This is such an awful thing to do.

I have always wanted a third child but my DH isn’t keen and people have told me on several occasions to just get pregnant by forgetting to take the pill WTF I would NEVER do this it’s so deceitful that I’m disgusted in the people who have suggested this to me!!

@BabyBrain:  that’s good that let him tale charge of giving you your birth control. I have the opposite problem hah my husband wants children sooner than I do so I moved our timeline up a couple years for him so I know how your fiancé feels. I want them I’m just nervous and scared hahaha by the time we reach our timeline ill be fine though. So just do whatever you need to to make your fiancé feel comfortable. Babies are much more fun when both parties are super excited about having them! Haha

that is a really BAD idea! Sneaking behind a mans back to have a baby (hello life changin event) is really irrisponsible and immature.

@BabyBrain:  you do kind of have a point. we bought our first house at 20 and 23 but recently moved out of it. We are now renting a house  and renting out the home we own and we are financially better off now ahaha was part of the reason I agreed to move the timeline up. Renting gives us freedom to move around for jobs if need be. I quite like renting lol only done it for a few months now but there is no real reason you HAVE to have a house before babies. My question is though you say if you want to take more time off for maternity leave how will you pay the mortgage…. If you can’t pay mortgage there isn’t much difference between that and not being able to pay rent. Our rent is twice as much as our mortgage haha

Wow, that’s terrible! I can’t imagine lying about something so HUGE… What, do you feign surprise when you get the BFP? Pretty trashy.
