Nope, but it sounds like a great idea, and lots of fun! What a great mama you are!
@PrncssDva: That is so awesome and sounds perfect. Now I wish we had more friends with dogs that wouldn't think we were nuts. I love it!
@Ms Hedgehog: LOL...everyone knows that I am always doing something different, so they just giggle and participate. :)
@UpstateCait: Thanks!
So, do I need cupcakes and drink for the humans?
@PrncssDva: I know the question wasn't posed to me but, I would say have some human food and drinks. Because, while techincally it is a party for dogs... in reality its the humans that care what happens. (Let's face it, dogs just go along with it so long as they are having fun. Like kids! lol) You can even make cute cupcakes with paw prints or "dog bone" cookies. You know, like those bone shape treats we give dogs but instead have them be cookies... ahh... Now I REALLY want to throw Arwen a birthday party when she turns 1... for my own sick amusement. lol
Aw, you're such a good doggie mama! I would provide snacks and drinks for the humans as well. No need to go overboard, but just something to offer people.
Happy birthday to your baby and I hope you post pictures afterward!
@Ms Hedgehog: Actually that question was to everyone. Hummm....the treat shaped cookies sound like a great idea. Now I just need to find a bone shaped cookie cutter lol
@twodoghouse: Awesome! Thanks! I will post pics, for sure!

yes, I am throwing a party fo rmy baby's birthday. I have always wanted to....so I am doing it this year. I have invited some of our friends and family with/without dogs. I just found some decorations, from Dollar Tree, that had dogs on it. Perfect! I ordered him a peanut butter, bone shaped, cake from his fave doggie bakery. We will only stay at our place long enough to sing to him and let the dogs eat cake. We'll then head to the dog park, so that they can all play freely. Do I need like cupcakes and drink for the humans? I also made some treat (pun intended) bags for his guests. Has anyone else done this?
