I would be totally careful with those. I got nail fungus from glue on nails.
@BodyByViGirl: Oh gosh. That's terrible. How long did you wear them?
@CarolinaCola:I don't wear them for more than three days. Otherwise, I have gotten nail fungus. But when I'm in a pinch and don't want to pay for a manicure, I wear them and think the look great!
@Miss Olive: Yeah, it says it on the box not to wear past seven days, but I will probably remove them by Monday because I'm so not used to long nails like this. I just wanted them to look nice for the concert and whatnot.
They look really natural! I think I like them better than acrylics actually. Very nice! :)
Whoa those do look great! I agree with @piglet_625: they look super natural.
Very nice! I need fake nails for the ball tomorrow--one night only. I have naturally gorgeous nails (thank you prenatal vitamins!) but, of course, right before the ball I break one past the quick so I cut them all short. The broken ones looks worse than a chewed on nail--def need the falsies for the ball.
Thanks for the photo--I am totally going this route tomorrow!
@CarolinaCola: Sorry just saw this. I wore them for a week. Not good!
They look lovely! I used to wear them quite frequently (I'm a life long nail biter) but over time, I developed a wicked allergy to the nail glue (and anything like it). So no more for me.
I wore glue on nails for the wedding! I had little sticker glue strips though.
My mom wears them all the time, switching them out just as they grow out or fall off. She's never had an issue with fungus. Her nails look great all the time too!
@CarolinaCola: Those look awesome! I've been stressing over what to do about my nails for the wedding and I think I just found my answer!
@Lindsay12.31.2010: I too used to wear glue-on nails all the time (back in middle/early high school when I wasn't allowed to go out and get them done) and never had a problem with fungus. I always just made sure my hands were clean and sanitized beforehand, and didn't let my hands get wet excessively. If a nail started lifting I'd take it off and replace it, because partially-lifted nails are a hotbed for bacteria and fungus /:

A couple weeks ago I posted about buying some glue on nails so my nails will look pretty for whenever that proposal comes :) A few bees said they'd like to see how they look because they'd never tried them. Well, we're going to a concert tomorrow so I finally did them and I thought I'd post them for you guys to see!
FYI, that's my promise ring, not an e-ring :)
I think they look very nice for someone who doesn't like to get their nails done at a salon. Here's where I bought them: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000QI8C1U/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details
P.S. Please excuse my weird blank-stare eyeball between my fingers. Haha!
