I don't see how a "candlelight" dress will look dirty compared to a white dress/vest. I couldsee that there will be a difference in color but not looking dirty. If you feel like your dress will look dirty, is there ay way your FI could get maybe a champagne/ivory vest instead?
I would have him wear an ivory vest - def. not white. Do you have a swatch sample from your dress? If so, take that with you guys when you go and pick out his vest.
i think it will look fine! but you might look into colored FG dresses, and maybe a candlelight vest(i'm sure you can find something close) if it really concerns you.. i tried to find a candlelight colored dress because i think they are beautiful!
just had an idea, i think if you could get his vest in silver or shiny champagne(which ever best matches your wedding) i think it would look really nice!

which is between ivory and stark white....and i was told that flower girl's dress shouldnt be white so that my dress doesnt look "dirty"... but now FI is thinking about wearing a white vest unde his black tux...will this make my dress look "dirty"??? help!
