Congrats, you did awesome!
Passing in the US depends a lot on the school and the program. In my graduate program, you have to get a 3.0/85% in every class to pass. You technically can get one below that int he 70-84 range, but you then get put on academic probation.
Undergraduates are usually 70% to pass.
Oh my goodness, congrats!!! That is very impressive! And it well warrants bragging, so no worries :)
Thanks guys :) Hopefully I can keep it up!
I can't believe the pass mark in the US, but then I don't know what the workload is like!
Congrats and excellent job! I'm still waiting on my grades from last semester...my first semester of law school. SO nervous. :S
Wow !! Thats very impressive !! I sure hope you are very proud of yourself !!
Here's to you !

Great job! It sounds like you are at the very top of your class! Keep up the good work. :)
I'm not in school, but DH just finished his first semester of law school, and he did very well! He was bummed that one grade wasn't quite as high as he wanted, but all things told, he's in the top third/quarter of his class! And considering that first year law classes require that a certain percent of students get C's (the lowest passing grade possible), I'm very proud that he managed to come out on top!

My grades are out!
I'm in the UK, and obviously our grading is a little different, so I'll explain first: I'm in my first sememster of first year, and have 8 semesters in total to complete, 4 years, so I'm only at the very very start. The pass mark for 1st semester is 35%. It is very low pass mark, but the normal pass mark is 50%. To get a 'first-class' degree, as good as you can get, you need above 70%.
So, I took Maths, Computing and Biology. Apart from Maths, I have never studied these subjects before, but in Scotland, you have to take 3 subjects for your first few years. My grades were: 85% for Biology, 90% for Maths, and 97% for Computing.
:D! Sorry if I'm bragging, but I worked my butt of for these grades! Anybody else want to share? And am I right in saying US pass mark is like 70%?
