My grandmother bought a flower girl dress without talking to me about it first! For some reason she decided to get a pink, green and tan dress for the Flower Girl and she KNOWS our colors are green with brown thrown here and there for the reception and (mostly just black with a little green thrown into the ceremony)! Where does pink fit in AT ALL? There we’ll be with my bridesmaids and his groomsmen all in blackwith green bouts for the guys and green lanterns for the girls and my son the ring bearer in his little black suit… and the flower girl in pink? UGH!
Ok so I thought the simple solution would be to tell her I’m not interested… she told me if I don’t like it she’ll take it back. Well I told her I don’t like it and she just kept going on and on about how there’s going to be more colors than just green and that little girls wear pink. Obviously she’s not going to take it back. I hate this dress, it’s not even close to our wedding style! I just wanted a simple white dress or green dress for my Flower Girl so she’d match my son walking down the aisle. What should I do? I don’t want to hurt my grandmothers feelings but this is my wedding not hers, if I don’t want any colors besides green I feel I have that right…
