I just wanted to share b/c I'm excited. My grandparents had been iff-y from the start due to health, but after my uncle's passing I had just accepted that they would not come. They are still not doing that well emotionally...quite understandably. But, my dad decided that he was really going to push them to travel thinking that maybe a getting together for a joyous occasion would be good for them. Well, he's a pretty convincing man. And so they are a coming! My grandfather will even give a blessing during the ceremony. I'm so happy. It was really hard to be getting married knowing that my grandparents have never even met the guy. And I just never really imagined this day without them. Though they live half the world away, they've been there for every important moment in my life. And now they'll be here for this one too :)
