Thank you! In person the makeup just looked and felt too cakey. I guess Im just not used to it though! My fiance thought it was too much as well. I dont wear any makeup except eyeliner. I might just use eyeshadow and lip gloss!
Hive Do you think I should add side bangs or keep it as is for the wedding day?
The makeup doesn't look too cakey from the photos, but the artist should have color corrected your cheeks and chin to neutralize the redness with green primer or concealer~ A no makeup, makeup look is actually more challenging than most think~ :) But other than that, I think your hair looks classy and the makeup looks very natural!

I wouldnt really say she was a makeup artist! She was a hair dresser who just happened to be the one doing the makeup that day! LOL!
I really like your makeup. I don't think it looks like too much, I think it looks very natural. And your hair looks great, too! I think your hair would look great with side bangs if you chose to do that.
You look very pretty!!! I can see why you don't feel comfortable with the make up, though. would you like a lighter brown for the eyeshadow? Maybe try a mineral powder foundation so it's not cake-y?
I also think side bands would be way cute!
I love your hair! The curls look fantastic! Maybe find someone who uses airbrush makeup? I also don't wear much makeup on a regular basis, and I thought the airbrush makeup felt really nice. I didn't feel like I was wearing anything, and it really evened out my skin tone nicely.
D, you look so pretty! I can't believe that your wedding is in just a couple of months! I know what you mean about feeling like you've got too much on makeup-wise. Like you, I hardly wear much on a daily basis. My MUA used mineral makeup, which made me feel a little too made up at the trial even though it was lighter weight. I have to tell you, it felt much more appropriate on my wedding day wearing the dress than it did with jeans and a button-down at the trial. You'll look beautiful no matter what!
About the bangs, it might look nice. Play around with the look at home to get a feel! :o)
D. Marie your hair came out great! I'm not sure you have bangs, but if you already do, it would be easy to leave some out and style it...but if you don't it's a commitment if you got them cut, then you would have to deal with them every day! I already have side swept bangs, so I'm used to doing them all the time. I usually use a straightening iron on them...But the curls she did on you look great!

I can't believe it's almost here too!! 63 days and counting! ♥ Yeah I'll have to see what I want to do about the makeup...it would have been so great if I really liked it from there because I would have had my hair and makeup done at the same place...I was thinking of buying some products and testing them out and just asking my MOH to do it or do it myself! I'll have to look around for another or a real MUA! Thanks again! Cant wait to see more of your wedding pics!

@LadyJenn....Thanks again! I have side bangs but they are longer and go with my hair when I part it to the side...I actually have a head band on that the flower is attached to and she asked me what I thought about pulling it back like that to hide the headband but said we can do whatever! PS...about the curls...she used lots of hairspray...I could smell it all night! LOL!
@littlebug...thank you! Yeah my fiance didnt like it either...I think we're just not used to seeing me with that much makeup on because I dont wear any! When I wiped it off to go to work it was a lot to wipe off! But im glad it looks good in pictures!!

Oh my side bangs were kinda long too, next time have them do the swide swept curl kinda thing and see how you like it!

I love the way my hair turned out...was thinking something a little different or maybe all the way down but I really like how it turned out. The makeup up...not so much. I told her I wanted to look natural and that I dont wear that much makeup if any. The cover up was too cakey and I think the eye shadow was too brown looking and too dark. I did like the lip gloss though! The middle picture I have makeup on and the last picture I dont have makeup on...which is how I look every day!
What do you think Hive?!
