Hooray!!! Congrats to your husband on the big accomplishment, and that's fantastic news about your MIL!! I hope you get a chance to go celebrate! :)
Congratulations! Isn't it amazing how proud you can feel for someone else??? I think it actually makes me feel prouder when Mr. DG has a major achievement than when I do!
AWWWW THAT is SO great! I am so, so excited for you! Mr. KM is going on his second round of applications and the rejection was so hard on him last year that I dread it happening again! But that's GREAT he's gotten accepted!!! That's such a huge, huge step!

OK, gratuitous exclamation points, I know, but the third time was the charm and my husband got accepted to his PhD program on Friday!!!!! :D
I am SO SO proud of him... and the silly man was gearing himself up for another rejection. Pfft. The acting char of his department actually told him that he was one of the best applicants they had this year.
I know I'm bragging, but I'm just so happy. We've been waiting a whole year for this to finally happen, life finally seems to be turning around. Oh, and we also found out this week that my MIL's bone marrow transplant is a complete success and she can come home in a couple of weeks. She kicked that cancer's butt!
I'm happier than I've been in a long time. :)
