@igor:  I think people are confused because we aren’t sure what you’re asking for. Do you want advice about how to have a relationship with your in laws? Or about how to get over your depression?

Well…glad you’re still married! It’s been 30 years, if you are hoping that your in laws will change, it’s not going to happen. Just be happy with what you have and try not to think about it.
